The Buying Process – What Happens Next
Once you’ve found the perfect property in Aruba, here’s what comes next:
Work with a trusted real estate agent – We can connect you with reputable legal professionals who will represent your interests and help prepare your offer.
Sign the preliminary sales agreement – After your offer is accepted, your Aruba Lifestyle Realty agent will prepare the sales/purchase agreement for you and the seller. This document officially reserves the property in your name.
Pay the deposit – A standard 10% deposit is placed with the notary of your choice. The notary also safeguards the funds in escrow until the transaction is finalized.
Cover closing costs – At this stage, you’ll settle required expenses such as transfer tax, notary fees, and any additional closing costs.
Receive your keys – Once the final deeds are signed and processed by the notary, the property is officially yours, and you can collect the keys to your new home in Aruba.
At Aruba Lifestyle Realty, we guide you through each of these steps to ensure the process is smooth, transparent, and stress-free.
