Visiting Aruba
Aruba is one of the easiest Caribbean islands to visit, making it especially convenient for second-home buyers and vacation homeowners. Tourists can enter the island without a written permit for stays of up to 30 days at a time, with a maximum stay of 180 days per calendar year.
Extension of Stay
Certain visitors may be eligible to extend their stay up to 180 consecutive days, provided specific conditions are met:
Nationals of the Kingdom of the Netherlands
Residents of countries with visa waiver agreements with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, if:
They own property in Aruba, or
They own a pleasure yacht of at least 14 meters moored in Aruba (proof of ownership required).
This flexibility makes Aruba especially attractive for international property owners, as it allows them to spend extended time enjoying their home and lifestyle on the island.
